In today’s society, cell phone technology is on a fast pasted train. At times, it is hard to keep up with which company made or created a new version of smartphone or iPhone. While many people have their favorite cell phone, it’s hard for others to determine which technology is the best, worst or copied from another brand product.

Can technology that was once old be used in the same manner, added to a different produce or put into a different package to represent something new? This is the question that springs up between the new iPhone 6 and the older Android phones. Did the creators of iPhone 6 (Apple) use the old technology from the Nexus 4 2012 to create a new product for today’s Smartphone users? In other words, is the iPhone 6 technology new or is it copied from android?

 

What is an Android Smartphone?

Google developed the system that the Android uses. The technology is better known as the Android operating system. This is an open source Linux operating system that permits manufacturers to highly customize and produce Android phones. Some examples of these manufacturers are HTC, Motorola and Samsung just to name a few. Furthermore, phones produced by Samsung operates in a different manner then the Smartphone produced by Motorola. For instance, Motorola’s Android Smartphone uses a feature called Motoblur interface. This system collects feed from social networks so that the phone user can acquire a better readability. Moreover, Samsung uses a Touchwiz interface so that users can easily connect to features they use frequently this also includes a variety of social networks. The Android operating system allows the manufacturers to choose between the two interfaces versions without have to upgrade their system at a later date.

 

The iPhone 6 and the 2012 Android Phone

As of 2012 the Nexus 4 was the first to feature several iOS (a mobile operating system) on its Android Smartphone. Moreover, the same technology is installed on both the iPhone 6 and the Android. Both Smartphone feature typing suggestions and have the have an 8MP camera. However, the list below shows other similarity that both the iPhone 6 and the Android share:

What is an iPhone 6?

The iPhone 6 is a Smartphone designed and created by the Apple Corporation. This phone is also installed with an Internet browser and a music player. The iPhone 6 uses the Focus Pixel technology which helps the phone sensors focus faster and better on a given image. This allows for a faster autofocus and a faster camera. Also the iPhone 6 includes a faster LTE connectivity known as Long-Term Evolution. The LTE is also referred to as fourth-generation technology (4G). These technologies allow the iPhone 6 to perform three times faster than other Smartphone in the market for example, a faster Wi-Fi and a large number of apps.

 

Yes, Apple has incorporated or copied the main features and technology that was installed on the 2012 Nexus 4. They use the technology to create the iPhone 6. However, what makes the iPhone 6 standout is the Touch ID and the videography features. The amazing thing about the Touch ID is that the user can unlock the iPhone with his/her finger print. This is a feature that is not included on the Nexus 4. The videography features allow iPhone users to take detail photographs and slow motion videos. Like with most phones, it’s up to consumers which one is better.
