Many people download the files by using web browsers, if it is a large size of files then we can’t exactly predict the downloading times. Some people make the download in night hours, but how can make auto shutdown their PC when completes the downloading? Some Auto shutdown tools available for Windows computer but we don’t know the exact time for downloading so we have to make extra time to set for shutdown the PC. Auto shutdown PC from Firefox browser

By default Firefox browser don’t have auto shutdown features but you can install its add-ons to control the shutdown your computer. Following steps guide you to make the auto shutdown features:

  1. Download and install the Auto Shutdown NG add-on in your Firefox browser
  2. After successfully installed, open Auto shutdown NG add-ons by click on the icons from browser toolbar
  3. Configuration window will be open click on open preference
  4. By default notification time in 30 seconds you can adjust as you needs
  5. Select the Windows OS version of your computer in Command area and save the settings

Now your Firefox browser added the auto shutdown features, when your download completes your browser automatically execute the shutdown option in your computer.

 

Auto shutdown PC from Chrome browser

Following steps helps you to activate auto shutdown feature in your Google Chrome browser

  1. Download and install the Auto shutdown extension in Chrome browser
  2. After installed auto shutdown icon will be added in browser toolbar, you can just click to ACTIVATE button for enable shutdown features.

Now all downloads complete in your Google Chrome browser, it will be execute the windows operating system shutdown commend in your PC.
