Many companies deduct the employee’s provident fund (EPF) from employee’s salary, but some companies are not properly pay to EPF office; because of they have to contribute some amount for EPF for each employee. So how can you get updated status about your EPF account from online?
Activate EPF account online
You can know your EPF status up to date from EPF online portal by doing the following steps:
- Go to EPF UAN portal
- Click the button of Activate your UAN based registration
- Enter your Universal Account Number (UAN), which you get from EPF office
- Enter your mobile number and select your EPF office region
- Enter the your account number, which you received form EPF office
- Enter the capture value and click to get PIN
- Once you received the PIN from your mobile, select I Agree option than enter the PIN and click to submit
Now your EPF online account will be activated and login to your account you can manager your account features such as download your Passbook and UAB card, file transfer claim and its status and many more options.
Check your EPF status online
Once you activate the your UAN you can login and view you EPF status online
- Login EPF member portal by select any one of your registered document with mobile number
- Select download E Passbook link in top menu bar
- Select your EPF office region
- Enter your EPF account number and you will receive the PIN from your registered mobile
- Enter the authorization PIN to get details
Now your prepared E passbook will be displayed click to download the PDF file and you can view your EPF detailed balance amount. Here you can also update your profile and documents details.
