Sony has introduced both their flagship Xperia Z2 and Z3 this year. So, their upcoming flagship must be Xperia Z4. The future is quite nearer than you think and people already started making assumptions on how the Xperia Z4 might look and bring onto the table to take the share of flagships. As we speak of, Sony might be already finished up the design procedure and testing to launch the device in the upcoming year. Release Date
Let’s start with the launch date of Xperia Z4. Generally, Sony releases two new flagships every year. For example, they released Xperia Z2 and Z3 this year. Along the edges it might introduce a curved edge so that the one-handed use can be feasible. Plus, they might also put aluminum body in it.
As the rumors are hovering, Sony might actually put 4K resolution display along with Sapphire glass under a 6.3-inch hood. So, it seems like Sony is really planning to join the bigger brothers of phablets. But, it doesn’t matter if Sony get their hands on the Compact version without losing the hardware bump.
Hardware improvement
It goes without saying that Xperia Z4 will carry the industry-leading hardware on its body. Under the probably 6.3-inch hood, Sony might put the most famous Snapdragon 805 chipset which has already been introduced in Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5 Plus and Nexus 6. So, it’s evident that Sony will use the same hardware spec to compete with these devices in the near future.
Along with its amazing CPU, it might add an extra 1GB RAM to its current flagship and make the new one carrying 3GB DDR3 RAM. The GPU might be the famous Adreno 450. Xperia Z4 will also make it to highly water and dustproof.
Camera Department
Sony has improved their smartphone cameras a lot but still they lack the quality in low-light shots. Although, they offer high resolution pictures, they lack the perfect quality. So, we’d like Sony to really look onto this matter and introduce Optical Image Stabilization for perfection. As far as we’ve heard, they are planning to use 27MP rear camera on their next flagship.
